logo. I’ve been waiting for The Penguin since it was announced that it was getting a TV series and I can tell you that it’s every bit as good as I hoped it would be.
Colin Farrell is absolutely terrific as Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin
He was great in The Batman and is even better in a lead role. On top of that, Cristin Milioti is equally as good as Sofia Falcone.
I hope we get more stories like this in this world
The two are battling over who is the number one gangster in Gotham and how to “bring order to all this chaos.” Some people were worried that a supporting character like The Penguin wouldn’t be able to carry a series and that it wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but fear not because this is more than just a villain in a superhero series, this is a great crime drama in its own right. It’s a violent, gritty crime drama that is so much fun to watch unfold.
