Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air
Tale
Men and women live in a giant underground silo with various regulations they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic, ruined world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” — the book has 82 chapters. Fans on the floor in several episodes spin in the wrong direction, relative to the orientation of the blades.
One thing stood out from the beginning
Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows You Need to Watch in 2023 (2023) I just started watching this show. The sound of the actors’ voices is very clear. Kudos to the sound guys, this is a minor miracle. I often have trouble hearing what actors are saying in shows and movies.
It’s rare to hear actors’ voices with such delightful clarity
Maybe it has something to do with the acoustics of a silo? But I don’t think so, I think it’s because of the great work of the film’s sound team who record and edit the actors’ voices. It’s almost like hearing actors’ voices in the theater, it’s so good. I’m several episodes in and I’m enjoying the acting and the story.
I really enjoyed it
There are some good characters well portrayed and something is slowly being unraveled regarding the history and operational details of the silo. I’m not sure where it’s all going yet, but it’s certainly keeping me engaged. I’ve now finished the first season. There’s a significant element at the end that’s identical to a revelation that happens in a movie.

To avoid spoilers, I won’t say the name of the movie, but I’m sure others know what I mean if they’ve seen it. That didn’t diminish my enjoyment of Silo and I’m not sure who came up with the idea first anyway, since I don’t know when the book Silo is based on was written. A new season of “Silo” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
