Originally set with CBS for a series commitment in 2020, it was cancelled just before the first episode was due to film due to COVID. This has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book “The Brass Verdict.” Mickey Haller has several cars, all of which have personalized California license plates with legal terms on them.

Personalized California license plates allow for a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s license plates have at least eight. I have to say, I had a great time watching The Lincoln Lawyer.

He takes on all of Tyler’s cases, some big and some small

It’s about a down-on-his-luck lawyer named Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) who takes over a successful law firm after the lawyer in charge is murdered and leaves his entire firm, including all of his clients, to Haller. Haller lives most of the time out of his Lincoln Town Car (hence the name The Lincoln Lawyer).

While some of it is unbelievable, you’ll still have a good time watching it

This show did so well that it was quickly renewed for a second season. Season 2 just came out and so far it’s just as good, if not better, than the first.
